Funds are received into a Safe (2-of-3) multisig wallet — every payout or conversion to IBAN requires at least two independent signatures. The bridge to the bank runs through Monerium (regulated EU EMI, EURe stablecoin ↔ SEPA IBAN).

On-chain donations rest on two layers of trust:
Icelandic regulated e-money institution (licensed by FME, MiCA-compliant since 2024). Issues EURe — a euro stablecoin where every token is 102% backed by short-term sovereign/corporate bonds and segregated bank deposits. Reserves are legally separated from the company's own funds — in case of insolvency they go directly to EURe holders, not into the insolvency estate.

Safe UI →As with money in a bank, trust here rests on regulator and license, not on standalone smart-contract mathematics. As the issuer, Monerium retains admin powers (mint, burn, address blacklist) — and this is a feature, not a flaw. In 2022 these powers were used to recover 1.5M EURe stolen from the LCX exchange and reissue them to the legitimate holders. The same powers can in principle be applied to any address — which is why it matters to know and disclose who stands behind the stablecoin we use.
SEPA donation flow: your bank transfer → Monerium IBAN → Monerium mints EURe on Gnosis Chain → EURe lands in the DOMOVINA Safe. Payout flow: 2 of 3 signers sign a redemption → Monerium burns EURe → SEPA outbound to the end recipient (e.g. an infrastructure vendor).
